This page documents how Aigotti Ventures LLC collects consent to send SMS notifications. It is published for transparency and for carrier and messaging provider verification.
Our SMS recipients are business owners who purchase our after-hours call answering service. We do not send messages to consumers, and we do not send messages to our clients' customers. Consent is collected in writing before service begins, and confirmed verbally during onboarding.
1. Written consent — service agreement
Every client signs a written service agreement before service begins. The agreement contains the following section. This is the exact language:
Excerpt — Aigotti Ventures Service Agreement, Section 5
5. SMS NOTIFICATIONS
5.1 Authorization. Client authorizes Provider to send operational SMS notifications regarding calls to Client's business line, to the mobile number or numbers Client designates.
5.2 Nature of Messages. These messages are operational and transactional. They include urgent alerts, appointment confirmations, and activity summaries. Provider will not send marketing or promotional messages under this authorization.
5.3 Opt-Out. Client may withdraw this authorization at any time by replying STOP to any message or by notifying Provider in writing. Client acknowledges that withdrawing SMS authorization materially reduces the usefulness of the Service and may make it impossible for Provider to deliver urgent notifications.
5.4 Rates. Standard message and data rates may apply to Client's mobile carrier account. Message frequency varies with call volume, typically 1 to 10 messages per day.
5.5 Designated Recipients. Client represents that any individual whose mobile number Client designates has consented to receive these messages.
The client writes the recipient mobile number themselves on the signature page:

Name: _______________________________
Title: _______________________________
Date: _______________
Email: _______________________________
Notification mobile number: _______________________________
2. Verbal confirmation — onboarding call
After the agreement is signed, we hold an onboarding call to configure the service. SMS consent is confirmed verbally during that call using the following script:
Aigotti "Last thing on setup — I need the mobile number that should get the alerts. When an emergency call comes in, Aigotti sends a text to that number with the caller's name, their callback number, the address, and what's going on. You'll also get a text when a non-urgent appointment gets booked, and a summary once a day.
Message frequency depends on how busy your phone is, usually somewhere between one and ten a day. Standard message and data rates from your carrier apply. You can stop them any time by replying STOP to any message, though I'd flag that if you do, you won't get the urgent alerts, which is the main thing you're paying for.
So — what's the best mobile number for those, and is that number yours or someone else on your team?"
Client Provides the mobile number and confirms who it belongs to.
Aigotti "Got it. And if that's someone else's phone, can you confirm they're okay receiving these? … Perfect. You're all set — that number will start getting alerts once we go live."
The number provided on this call is recorded in the client's onboarding record and matched against the number written on the signed agreement. If they differ, we confirm in writing before sending any message.
